Ethel Young, 92, of Hattiesburg, passed away on August 16, 2022, at Forrest General Hospital. She was
born on January 1, 1930, to Jeff Brown and Nora Tyler in Kewanee, MS. Ethel loved reading her Bible and
doing yard work.
Ethel is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her friend and caretaker, Elizabeth Wilson
and Thomas Wilson; sister-in-law, Carrie Brown; nephew, Lynnell Brown; a host of extended nieces,
nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be Monday, August 22, 2022, at Forrest Funeral Home at 2:00pm with the service to
follow at 2:30. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery.
