Susie and I went to high school together; we were in the same class. We were good friends and did some sewing together, which was great fun. She taught me how to hand-hem garments in a certain way, a technique that I have used since. I was at her house many times and we had good times together. I was rather shocked to hear of her passing. I didn't know she was sick as we hadn't kept in touch over the years. I wish she had been at some of our class reunions - I would have loved to see her again. I would like to express my deepest condolences to her family and friends. Sharron Robison Knutson (aka Peanut), Nevada, MO.

Susie and I went to high school together and had remained friends since. She and Ron were godparents to my middle son. Her parents and mine were great friends.I was so sad to hear of her illness and death. I wish I could have been there for her when she needed assistance. My thoughts and prayers are with her sons and their families. Judy Alexiou, Missouri

Mark and Rick and Families,
So sorry to hear of Aunt Susie's passing. I remember being a flower girl at your parent's wedding and how beautiful I thought your Mom was in her wedding gown. I remember as a person who seemed to be on the go a lot. And we remember her wonderful cooking. The chocolate buttermilk cake she made and passed on the recipe to our family is a much loved family dish. We will think of her when we make/eat it.
