Obituary for Betty Jean "Jean" Gipson

Betty “Jean” Gipson, 73, of Hattiesburg, went on to her Heavenly Home November 2, 2016. She was born on September 28, 1943, to George and Clara Burns in Taylorsville, MS.
Jean is preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Elisha Edwards; a sister, Elaine Bass. She is survived by her daughter Alice Faye Bryant; a son, Robert Bryant and son in law, Dray Edwards; two sisters, Bobbie Garrard and Linda Burns; 10 grandchildren: Earl(Dolly) Johnston, Jason (Breanne) Johnston, Jennifer (Aaron) Ryals, Allen Page, Dennis Page, Robert Page, Michael (Shanna) Page, Dray Edwards III, Tim Edwards and Jon Edwards; 14 great grandchildren: Allee Grayce, Logan, Cooper, Addison, Ella, Ayden, Garrett, Allee, Ava, Michael, Madysin, Aubree, Brayden and Amanda; a loving niece, Carolyn Gillum.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery at 3:30pm.
