Condolence: To the Cathey Family: I am truly sorry to read of the passing of your loved one. I didnt know him personally but its clear from the comments he was truly a remarkable man and will be greatly missed. It's hard losing someone to death. Especially someone like Mr. Cathey who seemeed to be so valued in the community. At tmes death leaves a hole that only time can begin to heal. When tragedy and hardship befall my family i often find comfort in the scriptures. Isaiah 25:8 speaks of the time when death will be gone forever. Revelation 21:4 speaks of pain and tears being a thing of the past. Times like these make it difficult to trust in such promises but they will come true for us. Beg God for endurance until that time comes. My prayers are with you.

My deepest thoughts and prayers are with you during this most difficult time. Mr. Cathey was a special person. He was not only a co-worker of mine through the GED program but a mentor. He always saw the good in people and would give his last. If he had it, you did, too. Truly selfless, in every sense of the word. I will miss his sense of humor, advice, the math help (: and stories that he shared about his family. He was a truly a gem and he will truly be missed. Again, I extend my prayers of strength and comfort at this time.

Condolence: To the Cathey Family: Mr. Cathey was a wonderful person. He was a great trustee at Sweet Pilgrim. I will always remember his smile. He is with the Lord now. Anything he could do for the kids at Sweet Pilgrim he would. All I had to do was ask or he would say," Get it and bring me a receipt". We will miss him so much. He was a smart man. May God bless and keep you all. Remember the good times and you will always be smiling. The Youth Department from Sweet Pilgrim along with the matrons, Mrs. Grindle and Mrs. Fortenberry, sends their sympathy.
