Retired Master Sergeant Michael Alan Webb, 79, of Silver Creek, MS, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2026, at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS surrounded by his family. Ret. MSgt Webb was born on July 31, 1946, in Toledo, Ohio and would later enlist in the United States Air Force. While stationed in Arizona, Michael would meet and marry the love of his life Yvonne Webb. Through his marriage to Yvonne, Michael became a father figure to her daughter, Tabatha, embracing her and becoming part of her family. He continued to serve his country as a Computer Systems Supervisor until 1985 when he retired at the proud rank of Master Sergeant. After retiring from the Air Force, Michael and Pearl opened not only their home, but also their hearts, becoming foster parents to many children from the Arizona Boys Ranch, as well as children from the Navajo and Apache Nations. The bonds they formed with these children lasted far beyond their years as foster parents. Many of those children remained a part of the Webb family, and Michael and Pearl were blessed to meet and know some of their grandchildren. We take a moment to remember and celebrate the service and life of Michael Alan Webb, may he rest peacefully with his wife.

Msg. Webb is preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Katherine Webb; wife, Pearl Yvonne Webb; brother, Harold R. Webb; granddaughter Carissa Marie McLellan. He is survived by his daughter, Tabatha McLellan (James); grandchildren: Yvonne Sexton, James McLellan, Robert McLellan (Kirstie) and Savannah McLellan (Darwin Lea); great grandchildren: Samarha, Abigail, Elizabeth, Ethan, Christopher, Robert, River, Ruger, Gemma and Carissa; one sister Suzanne Raliegh.

A celebration of life for him and his wife will be held at a later date.
