Steve Gould III was born on August 13, 1958, in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, to Steve Gould Jr. and Annie Louise Bell.

At a young age, Steve joined Antioch Missionary Baptist Church, where he developed a lifelong foundation of faith.

Steve attended Hattiesburg High School and later continued his education at Hampton Institute, where he earned a degree in Architectural Design. Following his education, he founded Gould Design, where he combined his creativity, vision, and passion for architecture into a successful career.

Steve was known for his entrepreneurial spirit, dedication to his profession, and commitment to pursuing his dreams. Through his work and the relationships he built throughout his life, he left a lasting impression on those who knew and loved him.

Steve was preceded in death by his parents, Steve Gould Jr. and Annie Louise Gould, and his brother, Terry Bell.

Steve leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Kimberly Gould and Chrystal Wade; three nephews, Jonathan Bell (Heidi), Marc Carpenter (Laura), and Gerald Carpenter Jr.; three nieces, Taleshia Carpenter, Tameikia Carpenter-Smith (Kasey), and Kymbrelye Wade; one great-niece, Jordan Smith; one great-nephew, Kaiden Smith; one uncle, Bert Bell Jr. (Joyce); one aunt, Grace Bell; and a host of beloved cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

Steve’s memory will forever be treasured by his family and all who were blessed to know him. His legacy will continue to live on through the lives he touched and the memories he leaves behind.
