Michael R. Tamberg

Michael R. Tamberg, 72, of Moselle, passed away on June 28, 2026, at Asbury Hospice House.

Born on April 21, 1954, in Akron, Ohio, Mike dedicated more than 40 years of service to the Department of Public Safety at Forrest General Hospital before retiring. He was known for his strong work ethic, unwavering dedication, and commitment to serving others throughout his career.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Roland and Maude Tamberg.

He is lovingly remembered by his children, Richard R. Tamberg; Stacey Tamberg White (Al); Michael B. Tamberg; Kevin "Matthew" Tamberg; and Taylor Tamberg (Sarrah). He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Lillian Tamberg, Eli White, Chloe White, Hartley Tamberg, and Ember Tamberg. Mike is also survived by his brothers, Charles "Tommy" Tamberg (Molly) and Ernest Conner, as well as several beloved nieces and nephews.

Mike's family will forever treasure the memories they shared with him and the love he gave so freely. His legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family will announce the service details once they have been finalized.
