Mrs. Edna Renita Jackson was born January 18, 1953 to Mr. & Mrs. Eddie Thomas Sr. of Vicksburg, MS.

In imitation of Jesus Christ, Edna was baptized as one of Jehovah' s Witnesses in July of 1961. From that point on, she served faithfully as a publisher of the good news in Hattiesburg, MS.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. & Mrs, Eddie Thomas Sr., her brother, George Thomas and her sister, Cynthia Brooks.

She is survived by her loving husband, of 49 years, Andrew Jackson; two sons, Courtland and Nicholas Jackson all of Hattiesburg, MS; one brother, Eddie Thomas Jr, of Oakland, CA; one sister, Deidra Williams of Vicksburg, MS; two aunts, Kathleen Dembly of Vicksburg, MS and Frances Norwood of Byram, MS; three uncles, David Jackson of Delhi, LA; Tom Thomas (Lillian) of Virginia, Paul Banks, Sr. (Anniebelle) of Vicksburg, MS and a host of nieces and nephews.
