Jonathan Ray Sanders, 63, of Hattiesburg, passed away on December 14, 2025, at his home. He was born on May 31, 1962, to Lazelle and Helen Sanders in Laurel, MS. Jonathan previously worked at Hattiesburg Health and Rehab and The City of Hattiesburg before he retired.

Jonathan is preceded in death by four brothers: Willie Sanders, Billy Wayne Sanders, Lazelle Sanders, Jr. and Ray Sanders; three sisters: Barbara McDuffie, Lizzie Barnes and Stella Whigham. He leaves to cherish his memories, one sister, Linda Gale; four brothers, Michael Sanders, Jeffrey Sanders, James Sanders and Clifton Sanders; special niece and nephew, Shemika Sanders and Tyquel Sanders; along with a host of additional nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
