Charlie Wyndell Edwards, 69, of Hattiesburg, passed away on November 17, 2025. He was born on January 30, 1956, in Hattiesburg. Charlie previously worked as a carpenter. He enjoyed good food, swimming and spending time with his family.

Charlie is preceded in death by his parents, Byes Edwards, Sr. and Clonie Mae Levi Edwards; one sister, one brother, four aunts, two uncles and two nephews. He is survived by his son, Terrell Hunter; two grandchildren, Treylan Hunter and Jevon Lindsey; five great grandchildren; two sister, Betsy McGilvery and Helen Jackson; three brothers: Thomas Edwards, Byes Edwards, Jr. and Jerry Edwards; eight nieces, three nephews and a host of cousins and friends.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 22, 2025, 3:00pm at Forrest Funeral Home.
