Margaret Joy White, 93, of Hattiesburg, passed away on September 3, 2025, at Merit Health Wesley. She was born on January 27, 1932, to Eric and Cecelia Thompson in Leicester, England.

Margaret is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Malcolm White; son, Darren White and brother, Eric Thompson of England. She is survived by three children: Karen Iosia (Taupule) of Meridian, MS, Julie Smith of Vancouver, WA, and Mark Smith of Portland, OR; one grandson, Tanner Williams of Portland, OR; two sisters, Shirley Davis of California and Jill Newby of England; along with a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Burial will be at Gilroes Cemetery in Leicester, England, at a later date.
