Dawn Marie Welsh Dupre, 49, of Petal, passed away on August 26, 2025. She was born on October 19, 1975, to Ronnie and Barbara Pilgrim in Hattiesburg, MS. Dawn loved crawfish boils, shooting pool and anything that involved spending time with her family and friends. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all that knew her.
Dawn is preceded in death by her grandmother, Peggy Welsh. She is survived by her parents; husband, Mason Dupre; two children, Dustin Welsh (Jayde) and Skylar Dupre; three grandchildren: Greysen, Finleigh and Hazel; siblings, Sara Atkins (Chris), Ronnie Pilgrim, Jr. (Erica) and Jennifer Pilgrim; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, August 29, 2025, 6-8:00pm at Forrest Funeral Home. An additional visitation will be Saturday, August 30, 2025, 12:00-1:00pm at Forrest Funeral Home with the service to follow at 1:00pm. Interment at Highland Cemetery.
