James Kenneth Entrekin, 61, of Purvis, passed away on December 30, 2023, at his home. He was born on March 10, 1962, to James and Faye Entrekin in Hattiesburg, MS. After graduating high school, Kenneth attended trade school. He was considered a “Jack of All Trades”, plumber, pipe fitter, contractor and business owner to name a few.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Charles and Jimmy Entrekin; one sister, Dianne Bennett. He is survived by his devoted and loving wife, Janet Entrekin; two daughters, Martha “Mandy” Entrekin and Charleigh McPhail; three grandchildren: Jordane Drummer, J’Lynn Drummer and Antonio “A.J” Drummer; one brother, Kevin (Andria) Entrekin; one sister, Brenda (Robert) Mitchell; one sister-in-law, Stephanie Entrekin; along with a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, 5-8:00pm at Coaltown Baptist Church. An additional visitation will be held on Thursday, January 4, 2023, 12-2:00pm at Coaltown Baptist Church with the service to follow at 2:00pm. Interment will be at Pleasant Home Cemetery.
