Obituary for Desmond Rashad Terrell

Mr. Desmond RaShad Terrell was born March 09,1987 to the late Glenda Nell Terrell in Laurel, Ms.  He graduated from Quitman High School in 2005.  He was employed at Jones Power where he was a Loader Operator.  He was a member of St. Peter’s Missionary Baptist Church in Vossburg, Ms.
On the evening of May 21, 2023, Desmond closed his eyes to take his rest at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg, MS. He was surround by his family and friends. He was proceeded in his death by his mother, Glenda Nell Terrell, his grandmother, Shirley Mae Terrell-Barnett, and his great grandmother, Mary Francis Terrell. 
 
He leaves to cherish his memories, his loving wife, Kara Carter-Terrell, his guardian, Teresa Terrell of Meridian, MS and his mother-in-law, Janet Carter of Hattiesburg, MS.  Two daughters, Zhaylaiha Diane Terrell of Hattiesburg, Ms. and Arieyah Joy Terrell of Corpus Christi, TX. Five Sons,Zhimyrus Rashad Terrell of Hattiesburg, MS, Dezmiuntae Lewis of Quitman, Ms  Kylan Carter, Kaleb Carter, and Khailen Carter of Hattiesburg, MS. Three brothers, Grover Terrell of Hattiesburg, Ms., Mario Terrell of Meridian, Ms, Solomon McNeil, Meridian, Ms. One brother-in-law, Jonathan (Khalilah)Carter of Beaumont, MS. One Sister, MorissaJenkins of Quitman, Ms.  One sister-in-law Tara Carter of Hattiesburg, MS. one granddaughter, Kylie Ann Carter of Hattiesburg, MS. Three aunts, Sherry Keeler Wells of Birmingham, AL., Daphanie Narcisse and Rebar Akins both of New Orleans, La. One uncle, Tommy Terrell of Pachuta, MS. Two nephews, DreShawn Terrell of Biloxi, MS and Tanner Carter McSwain of Hattiesburg, MS. One niece, Jasmyn Carter. A devoted and close friend, Lee Curtis Edwards, he leaves to cherish the memories they shared together. He was also loved by his cousins, friends, coworkers, classmates, and anyone that he met.
 
For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand. I have fought a good fight, I have finished by course, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:6-7
