Obituary for Dean Jack Chambliss
Dean “Jack” Chambliss, 87, of Hattiesburg, passed away on January 1, 2023, at Hattiesburg Health and Rehab. He was born on July 28, 1935, to Harvey and Jessie Mae Chambliss in Mississippi.
Jack is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Nellie Davis Chambliss; one daughter, Carolyn Ann Chambliss. He is survived by his children: Frances Aycock (Tony), Janice (John) Sumner and Harvey (Heather) Chambliss; grandchildren: Ashley Richardson, Amber Mooney, Shelby Windham, Leah Aycock and Meagan Smith.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 4, 2022, 2:00pm at Forrest Funeral Home with the service to follow at 3:00pm. Interment will be at Chambliss Cemetery.
