Vickie A. Smith was born on July 26, 1954 In Meridian Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her 4 brothers and 2 sisters Juketa Jones, Janice Tillman, Jerry Smith, and Peggy .She leaves behind her brother Louis Smith t#. Louis and Alma moved their family to Chicago in 1957 when Vickie was just three years old. She later attended Harlan high school and graduated in 1972. Shortly after she graduated she met and married Charles L. Scott. Vickie and Charles both had their first and only daughter Candace L. Scott was born on September 13, 1973. Vickie was married to Charles for 5 years until they divorced. Vickie then went on to marry Booker Ray in 2019 but ended up losing him due to cancer in 2012. Vickie loved and cherished her only daughter Candace and all of her grandkids Clevon, Scottie, Arnett, Kayla, and Jeremiah. She also left behind two great granddaughters Amaya and Ah’yuri. Vickie was a beautiful God fearing woman with a loving heart. Vickie loved everyone she came in contact with. She loved spending time with her family and friends, her closest friends being Diane and Evelyn.
