Perry Stewart Conerly, 77, of Hattiesburg, passed away on June 17, 2022, at his home. He was born on October 26, 1944, in Columbia, MS. Perry enlisted in The United States Army in 1970 and after many years, he retired as Lieutenant Colonel in 1995.
Perry is preceded in death by his parents, Bruce H. Conerly and Edna Ruth Stewart Conerly Breakfield; one brother, Jesse Lynn Conerly and one half-sister, Louise. He is survived by his loving wife, Sheryl Conerly; five children: Keith Conerly (Vivian), Michelle Smith (Chris), Brett Conerly, Shawn Conerly (Heather) and Sonya Conerly (Nathan Lewis); four grandchildren: Brittney Kitchens, Madison Conerly, Nataleigh Lewis and Naomi Lewis; three great grandchildren: Riley Kitchens, Leala Kitchens and Lydia Kitchens.
