Obituary for Joycelyn F Myers

Joycelyn Faye Myers was born on March 20, 1952, in Laurel, Mississippi
to the late Lonnie and Jessie Myers. She passed away peacefully and gained eternal
life on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, surrounded by family. She was preceded in
death by her siblings Earnestine Bew (Ivory), Sam (Dollie), Charles (Johnnie),
Richard, Mufford and Billy Myers.
Joycelyn accepted Christ at an early age at True Vine COGIC in Joliet, IL
under the leadership of the late Elder Robert Crawford. Later in life she joined
Providence Church in New Augusta, MS under the leadership of Rev. Kelvin

life for herself and her two sons. She was employed by Johnson & Johnson and
Personal Products for many years. She later retired from Dial Corporation (VVF

One thing for sure, she loved spending time with her sons, nieces and

with you but still give you that real advice like only she could. She enjoyed
spending time in her garden, planting flowers in her yard, fishing and an occasional
trip to the casino.
Joycelyn leaves to cherish her memory her two sons, Richard (Belvis)
