Obituary for Matthew "Scotty" Scott Anderson
Matthew “Scotty” Anderson, of Hattiesburg, passed away on January 21, 2022. He was born on April 27, 1981, to the late Charles P. Anderson and Tommie J. Anderson in Hattiesburg, MS.
Scotty is preceded in death by his father Charles P. Anderson, maternal grandparents Tommie and Varie Hinton, paternal grandparents , Otho “Jug” and Winnifred “Winnie” Anderson. He is survived by his siblings: Terri Golladay, Christi Cummins(Brad), Jennifer Anderson (Chris Speights), Melanie Walters(David), nieces and nephews: Lauren Pope, Kayli Smith, Cameron Cummins, Caitland Cummins, Addison Cummins, Lucy Walters, Jack Walters , and Kellan Walters, six great nieces and nephews, and a host of aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at Central Baptist Church at 2:00pm with the service to follow at 3:00pm. Internment at Anderson Cemetery.
