Life Story for Lawrence Dantzler

On August 14, 1955, a perfect gift from God was given to Gladys and Namon Dantzler Sr; he was the fourth of nine children born in this union in Hattiesburg, Mississippi.
Lawrence attended Central Elementary and Earl Travillion during his primary years and graduated from Forrest County Agriculture High School. He pursued a trade in Welding at Pearl River Community College.
Lawrence had many gifts and talents. Lawrence was a caring individual focused on building relationships and connecting with others. He was always thoughtful and helpful to everyone he met, and he made a point to say something kind regardless of the circumstances. He enjoyed social outings with his friends and family. He was a man of his word, often performing good deeds. Colossians 3:17
Lawrence was a skilled welder, talented artist, and avid fisherman. In his life’s journey he worked many jobs, was multifaceted and adaptable. Lawrence was a valued and respected employee for many years at Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, MS and Finlo Construction Company in Hattiesburg, MS.

Lawrence was preceded in death by both parents, Namon Dantzler Sr. and Gladys L. Dantzler, Elder Sister, Daisey L. Dantzler, and his Nephew LaMar Dantzler. On November 8, 2021, God saw fit to welcome Lawrence into his eternal home of Glory.
Lawrence leaves behind to celebrate his memories three (3) children. His loving son Tevin Clark and two beautiful daughters Tierra Clark and Tamera Clark. Celebrating his memories are his (7) seven siblings-two brothers, Namon Dantzler Jr., and David Dantzler (Linda Ann); five sisters Inetta Dantzler, Roxie Dantzler, Rosetta Henderson (Steve), Janet L. Dantzler and Tanya Dantzler Cole (Washington IV). A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loved ones. Among the many friends who shall mourn his loss and yet celebrate his memories are Cathy, Andre, and Clarence. Lawrence will be remembered and missed by all.
