Obituary for Katherine Webb Adams
Katherine “Kathy” Webb Adams, 68, of Hattiesburg, passed away on Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family, after a 20 year battle with cancer.
Kathy was born in Collins, MS, but grew up in Panama City, FL. She graduated from Hattiesburg High School in 1969 and The University of Southern Mississippi in 1973. Kathy was a teacher for 36 years and taught thousands of students during that time. She taught at Richton, Earl Travillion, Grace Christian, Jones and Thames. Kathy was an excellent Teacher, colleague and friend.
Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Katherine Webb; one nephew, Caleb McDonald. She is survived by her loving husband, Ronny Adams; two children, Jennifer Estaris (Roland) and Jason Adams; two grandchildren, Max and Emma Estaris; two siblings, Leslie Webb McDonald (Allen) and Jimmy Webb; stepmother, Dorothy “Dot” Guice; nieces and nephews: Braydon, Melissa, and Jimmy Webb and Lindsey McDonald.
A visitation will be held June 18, 2021, from 4-6pm at Forrest Funeral Home.
