Life Story for Charles Allen Alexis
Charles Allen Alexis, 80, of Hattiesburg, passed away on June 8, 2021, at Asbury Hospice House. He was born on June 8, 1941, to Albert and Victoria Alexis in New Orleans, Louisiana. Charles retired after 33 years of service from the New Orleans Fire Department at the rank of Captain.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents and three siblings: Harold J. Alexis, Loralee Henry and Albert Alexis, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Charlotte Alexis; one son, Jason Alexis; two grandchildren, Emily Alexis and Mitchell Alexis. He also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff at Asbury Hospice House for their kindness and consideration to them during their difficult time.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Asbury Hospice House or your favorite charity in memory of Charles A. Alexis.
A visitation will be held on Friday, 16, 2021, at St. Fabian Catholic Church, at 10 am with a mass to follow at 11am.
