Faith Lofaso Yawn
Faith Yawn went to be with Jesus on March 8, 2021. Faith was born January 6, 1943, and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. Faith made her home in Hattiesburg, Mississippi after Hurricane Katrina. She was an active member of her church and a delight to all who had the pleasure of knowing her. She never met a stranger. Through all of her health struggles, she maintained her joyful attitude and met every challenge with a positive outlook and a smile.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Austin Yawn; the father of her children, Jerry Ansardi; and her son, Stacy Ansardi. She will be dearly missed by her loving son, Shane Ansardi (Jenny); sister, Veronica Parker (Lester); granddaughter, Olivia Ansardi; and grandson Jerry Ansardi. She also leaves behind her beloved niece, Kellie Parks (Vaughn) nephew Brett Parker (Hope), and many family members and friends who loved and adored her. She was a wonderful woman; Sweet as pie and tough as nails. We grieve her absence but rejoice in our confidence that she is in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
A funeral mass will be held Saturday March 20,2021, at 11 am at St Thomas Aquinas Church in Hattiesburg Mississippi.
