Obituary for Larry Winborne
Larry Van Winborne, 75, of Hattiesburg, passed away on January 26, 2021, at Asbury Hospice House. He
was born on January 30, 1945 to Alford and Inez Winborne in Plymouth, NC.
Larry is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife, Kate Winborne; three
children: Jeffrey Winborne, Isah (Gizelle) Winborne and Heidi Winborne; grandchildren: Destinii,
Desiree, India and Amya; sister, Aileen (Clarence) Robertson, and family friend Ruby Reed.
For 38 years, Larry took pride in owning Fairview Pharmacy in Hattiesburg, MS. He graduated from
Elizabeth City State University in Elizabeth City, NC. He loved his family, horseracing, the stock market,
watching his kids play sports, coin collecting, traveling, reading books, and learning new things.
A graveside service will be held Friday, January 29, 2021, at Highland Cemetery 12:00pm.
