Mryon was born in Grenada, MS on May 3, 1973 to the late Dora McNeal and Jerry Thompson. He accepted Christ at an early age. Upon his move to Hattiesburg he became a member of True Light M. B. Church were he served helping drive for the Senior Citizens Luncheon.
Myron has led a full happy life. February 2006 is when he met Latoyna again and fell deeply in love with her. Myron never met a stranger; he made friends everywhere he went. Myron had a gift of conversation no matter who he was talking too. He loved his family greatly, and his family loved him. Myron’s daily routine was working in his yard; he always had a project in his yard.
Myron is preceded in death by his mother Dora McNeal, father Jerry Thompson and his grandparents.
He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife Latoyna, children Shaceontea Rose and Christopher Singleton both of Hattiesburg, MS and his beautiful granddaughter Ky’Mora. His adopted son Larry (Parys) Sutton; siblings; Darien Wesley, Milwakee, WI, Melissa Simmons, Saginaw, MI; Jerry (Yolanda) Thompson, Saginaw, MI; Cynthia Rencher, East St. Louis, IL; James(Tina) Thompson, Lincoln, NE; Melinda (Todd) Lockett, Kalamazoo, MI; Markee Thompson, Atlanta, GA; loving in-laws, a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Myron will be missed by all who knew him.
“And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”
Revelation 2:4
