Warren Dean Engberg, 86, passed away June 15, 2020, at Asbury Hospice House in Hattiesburg, MS. He was born November 27, 1933, to Gustave and Dorothy Engberg in Lake Eunice Township, Becker County, MN.
Warren graduated from Maplewood Academy, Hutchinson, MN in 1951. He attended the North Dakota School of Science in Wahpeton, ND, and Union College in Lincoln, NE. He married Eleanor Johnson on September 4, 1955, in Detroit Lakes, MN.
Warren was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; two sisters, Eva Mae and Yvonne. He is survived by his three children: Shelly Benson of Hattiesburg, MS, Steven Engberg of Shelbyville, TN, and David(Joyce)Engberg of St. Augusta, MN; one granddaughter, Camille; three great-grandchildren: Ke`Air, Marqus and Carter; one brother, Gary(Mary) Engberg of Thompson Station, TN.
Memorial donations may be made to the Parkinson`s Foundation. Located at 200 SE 1st Street, Ste 800, Miami, FL 33131, in honor of Warren.
A visitation will be held on Friday, June 28, 2020, at 10:00 am with a memorial service to follow at 11:00am at Forrest Funeral Home in Hattiesburg, MS.
