Minister Leighton Aniqua Hill, 11, of Hattiesburg, passed away on May 2, 2020. She was born on September 2, 2008, in Hattiesburg. Leighton was a student at Earl Travillion Attendance Center, where she was on the dance team. She was a child of God and loved the Lord.
Leighton is preceded in death by her uncle, Michael Posey and two great grandmothers, Dorothy Mitchell and Hattie Mae Posey. She leaves to cherish her memories: her mother, Shannon Posey; dad, Anthony Hill; grandparents, Robert and Cynthia Posey; aunts and uncles: Tori and Eukeyia Posey Jackson, David Mitchell, Michael and Mary Tillman, Alfreda and Michael Bester and Trish Keys; three cousins: Keylon, Toryn and Jaelyn Jackson; close family friend, Joann Farrell; best friend, Ariel Husband; a host of extended cousins and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Forrest Funeral Home 11:00-3:00pm with a graveside service to follow at 3:30 at South Hill Cemetery.
