Barbara Lott, 78, of Purvis, passed away on March 14, 2020, at Tulane Medical Center. She was born on November 5, 1941, to Luther and Evelyn Creel in Laurel. Barbara worked at Forrest General Hospital for many years. In surgery, she was known as “Mikey” and in Labor and Delivery, was known as “Sleepy”. She loved her children, grandchildren and spending time with her family.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Gary Michael Lott; two sisters, Margaret Creel-Winkiles and Betty Creel-Karr . She is survived by six children: Robert Lott, Cynthia Simmons, Richard Lott, Gina Lott, Susan Lott-Wiles and Karla Martin; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Milly Creel-Longman and Hilda Creel-Whatley.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 17, 2020, at Forrest Funeral Home 5-8:00pm. An additional visitation will be Wednesday, March 18, 2020, at Forrest Funeral Home 11-1:00pm with the service to follow at 1:00 in Forrest Chapel. Interment will be County Line Cemetery.
