Obituary for Maggie Allen
Maggie Allen, 71, of Hattiesburg, passed away on February 7, 2020, at Asbury Hospice House. She was born on May 12, 1948, to Calvin and Alice Allen in Perry County, MS.
Maggie is preceded in death by her parents and one daughter-in-law, Vernica Clark; six siblings: Mary Alice Maye, Johnnie Ruth Myers, Johnny Allen, Sr., Eddie Allen and James Allen. She is survived by her significant other, Tommy Jones; six children: Berniece Patterson, Jacqueline Hibbler, Iris Pittman, Willie Allen, Rogers Allen and Marvin Allen; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be Saturday February 15, 2020, 10 – 1:00pm at Greater Mt. Zion M.B. Church with the service to follow at 1:00pm also at the church. Interment will be at Greater Mt. Zion M.B. Church Cemetery.
