Obituary for Jasmine Dozier
Jasmine Patrice Dozier was born October 10, 1985, to Perry and Marilynn Dozier in Hattiesburg, MS. Although she was only 33 years old, her life has made a major impact on so many others. Jasmine is a 2004 graduate of Hattiesburg High School, a 2012 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi (Bachelor’s in Science in Business Administration), and a 2018 graduate of Belhaven University (Master’s in Science in Leadership).
Jasmine worked in banking from 2009 until the date of her untimely death. She was very organized, proficient, and concerned about the financial health of all of her family and friends. She gained a host of friends and friends that became family through her time working in the banking industry. Jasmine was a creative, and was also exploring how to make her planning abilities work for her. She launched Jazzy Belle’s Events, where she planned parties and events.
Jasmine loved New Orleans, the Saints, and all things involving a fleur de lis. She was also a couponing guru, and loved to catch a good deal. She was a funny, honest, and loving woman who had many plans for the future.
Jasmine was preceded in death by her loving grandmother (Azalea Dozier), aunt (Catherine McNair), grandfather (West Dozier), grandfather (Elder Eliyezer Ben Yisrael), grandmother (Cathana Dozier), and her great-grandmother (Nellie B. Jones). Jasmine leaves the love of her life, Taurean Omoregie (Aniyah Omorgerie) here to cherish her memory. She is also survived by her loving mother and best friend (Marilynn Dozier) and her father (Perry Dozier). She leaves her aunt (Eleanor Dozier); her cousin who was more like a sister (Krystal Dozier); her cousin (Christopher McNair); their children (Quinlin, Skylar, and Savannah); her aunt (Rachel) and uncle (Elqanah), and a host of other family and friends.
Jasmine was a woman who cared and loved for her friends as her family. She was a wonderful blessing to all she touched. Her presence left such an impact and will truly be missed.
