Helen Dean Drake, 61, of Petal, passed away on December 31, 2017, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel. She was born on May 16, 1956, to Walter and Lillie May Myers in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Drake is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Calvin Drake; two children, Avery (LaCresha) and Carlos (Christy) Drake; two grandchildren, Lauren Drake and Zacchaeus Drake; eight siblings: Donna Myers, Demetric Hersey, Norma Faye Myers, Lillian Ann Myers Sims, Desmond Myers, Clayton Myers, Lindsey Myers, and Clarence Myers.
Visitation will be 10-12:00 on Saturday January 6, 2018, at Piney Grove Baptist Church in Petal with a service to follow at 12:00p.m. Interment will be at Highland Cemetery.
