Condolence: Family of James Ridgeway, No doubt Mr. Ridgeway will be sadly missed. I too have experienced the loss of a loved one and find it comforting to know that death was not God’s purpose for mankind and his purpose has not changed. God’s word says 'death is an enemy' and promises it will be 'brought to nothing'. (1Corinthians 15:26) Further, “He will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces”. (Isaiah 25:8). So, God guarantees the grief and sorrow we experience is temporary. (Revelation 21:4). It is because of Jehovah God’s purpose and great love for us, that he assures the restoration of life. As you know, Jesus said, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who exercises faith in me, even though he dies, will come to life...” ( John 11:25) Jesus not only spoke of the coming resurrection (John 5:21, 28, 29), he himself was resurrected by his Father and performed many miracles including resurrections. All resurrections took place on earth giving us a precious glimpse of what is to come.......seeing our loved ones again! (Acts 24:15) Reminders of God’s promises serve to provide hope for the future and comfort now. So, as you cherish the many fond memories of Mr. Ridgeway may Jehovah God continue to bless your family in the days to come......
