Christa Anneliese Lange, 83, of Petal, passed away on October 31, 2017, at Forrest General Hospital. She was born on November 30, 1933, in Karlsruhe, Germany.
Christa is preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Lange, Sr.; parents, Herbert and Luise Wierse; a brother, Dieter and a sister, Martha. She is survived by three children: Heidi Lange of Petal, David L Lange, Jr. of Batesville and Doreen Draper of Oak Ridge, TN; six grandchildren: Courtney Paige Blevins, Jessica Leigh Smith, Lauren Joyce Risner, Phillip William Draper, Anneliese Shay McDuffie, Bryant David McDuffie, and 10 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Southern Pine Animal Shelter in honor of Mrs. Christa Lange.
Visitation is Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Forrest Funeral Home 5-7pm. The service is Friday, November 3, 2017, 11am in Forrest Chapel. Interment will be at Roseland Park Cemetery.
