Obituary for Minnie Lee Farr

Minnie Lee Farr
Minnie Lee Farr went peacefully from this life on October 24, 2016. She is now frolicking with the angels and her family that went before her. If we could see her now with her bright smile and warm laugh, she would tell us this is what I lived my life for, a home with my God. Minnie Lee was born 100 years ago on June 21, 2016, in Wastella, Texas. Minnie was a cosmetologist, owning her own salons in Oklahoma, California, and Texas.
She is survived by her daughter, Loretta Clissold of Hattiesburg; a sister, Lona Fay Young, of Lawton, Oklahoma; two grandchildren: Terry Dent (Doug), of Athens, GA and Lindsey Clissold (Penny), of Houston, TX; five great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be held on October 27, 2016 from 5:00-6:00pm, at Kensington Woods Church of Christ located at 415 South 40th Avenue. Interment will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Oklahoma City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Tanzania Ministry at Kensington Woods Church of Christ or Dogs for the Deaf, Inc., 10175 Wheeler Rd., Central Point, OR 97502.
