Obituary for Phyllis Annette Fiala

Phyllis Annette Fiala died on March 2, 2018, at South Central Regional Medical Center with her loved ones at her side. Phyllis was born on May 28, 1943, in Golconda, IL to Willie and Lydia Kingsley.
She married her love Andrew F. Fiala II on May 3, 1963 in Fontana, CA. Phyllis was a fun loving person and an avid bowler, but most of all, she loved her family and her Lord Jesus Christ. Phyllis, along with her family, was actively involved in the management and daily business of Hub Bowling Lanes until a debilitating stroke in August of 2005 that greatly inhibited her mobility. Her selflessness, however, remained uninhibited by her condition and she was always available to lend an ear or a word of encouragement to those she loved, while remaining strong in her faith.
Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son, Christopher John Fiala. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, “Andy”; two daughters: Tabie Perna (Vito) of Laurel and Kecia Guy (Butch) of Hattiesburg; one son Andrew F. Fiala, III (Tracy) also of Laurel; six grandchildren: Justin, Vito, Jr., Andi (James), Andrew, Emerson, and Dani: three great grandchildren: Ava, Eve, and Riley.
A private family service was held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Forrest Funeral Home.
