Mary Jell King, 72, of Hattiesburg, passed away on November 15, 2017, at her home. She was born on October 21, 1945, to Galloway Shavers and Jane Oliver in Jackson, TN. Mary attended high school in Jackson, TN, before she moved to Hattiesburg, MS, in 1961. She was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and worked at Forrest General Hospital for 11 years.
Mary is preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Michael Miller and a sister, Agnes Hill; fathers of her children, Robert Woods and James King. She is survived by her three daughters: Sharon Denham (Ronny), Katrina Naylor (Cecil) and Felicia Williams; five grandchildren: Michael Conner, Charkarra Thompkins, Santana Barber, Jasmine Naylor and Jonathan Williams, Jr.; three siblings: Patricia Tabor, Constanza Miller and Arthur Miller.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 21, 2017, 10am at Forrest Funeral Home with the service to follow at 11am in Forrest Chapel. Interment will be at Mt. Olive Church Cemetery.
