James Hatcher "Jimmy"  Eiland Jr.
James “Jimmy” Hatcher Eiland, Jr. passed away on October 1, 2016, surrounded by his family. Jimmy was born on July 10, 1941, in New Orleans, La. He was a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi, owned a trucking company, and was employed by Southwest Distributors as a salesman. He coached football for many years and had a love for the game. Jimmy cherished spending time with his family and his loyal German Shepard, Hachi.
Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents: James and Viola Eiland. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Kay Williamson Eiland; two sons: Trey Eiland and Brent Garner; two daughters: Kim Hanberry and Shannon Thornton; a sister, Mary Hailey; six grandchildren: Eric, Austin, Brandon, Dalton, Cheyenne, and Kennedy; a niece, Tracy and a nephew, Jim.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 6, 2016, at Forrest Funeral Home, from 11-1:00pm, with the service to follow at 1:00 in Forrest Chapel. Interment will be at Roseland Park Cemetery.
