Obituary for Howard Hill "Joe" Kintzel Jr.

Howard Hill “Joe” Kintzel, Jr., 71, of Hattiesburg, died on April 21, 2016, at Forrest General Hospital. Joe was born in Des Moines, IA, on February 6, 1945, to Howard and Helen Kintzel.
Joe proudly served 20 years in the United States Air Force and retired with the rank of Captain. While serving, he earned a psychology degree from Our Lady of the Lake in San Antonio, TX. Upon retirement, he was employed with Lockheed-Martin as a security engineer. He was an active member of Main Street Baptist Church.
Joe is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Elizabeth Parker Kintzel; two sons: Shayne (Missy) and Kirk; daughter, Jessica Duck (Bryson); four grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at Main Street Baptist Church of Hattiesburg, with the service to follow at 11:00 at the church. Interment will be at Pleasant Home Cemetery in Purvis.
