Robert Donald “Don” Rutland, 73, of Moselle, passed away on April 10, 2016. He was born on December 22, 1942, to Robert and Billie Chain Rutland in Magee, MS. He attended Forest Hills High School in Jackson and was a member of the Covington County Historical Society, Magnolia Cruisers, and the South MS Art Association.
Don is preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother; three sisters: Becky Rutland, Tammy Brock (Sonny), and Joye Taylor (Phillip); a niece, Lindy Taylor; two nephews, Landon Brock and Jory Taylor; two great nieces, Kinley and Sophie Brock; and his fur baby, Dolly.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2016, at Forrest Funeral Home from 11-2 with the service to follow at 2:00 in Forrest Chapel. Interment will be at Roseland Park Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Make a Wish Foundation in Don’s honor.
