Thelma Ruth Lawrence, 69, of Hattiesburg, MS, passed away on June 26, 2015, at Wesley Medical Center. She was born on August 18, 1945, to Augustus Brown and Rhodie Mae Oatis in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Lawrence was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Charles E. Lawrence, Sr.: her brother, Willie Ray Lee; a grandson, Deshun Brown, and her aunt, Eula C. Jones. She is survived by four sons: Michael and Terence Brown, Joseph Henry, and Derrick Lawrence; three daughters: Pamela Pinkney, Kimberly Garner and Shahunda Love.
Visitation will be Thursday, July 2, 2015, at Anointed Word Ministries from 11:30-12:30 with the service to follow at 1pm. Interment will be at South Hill Cemetery.
