Obituary for Dianne Phyllis Norton (Pietraroia)

Dianne Phyllis Pietraroia Norton, 62, of Hattiesburg, passed away on March 13, 2015, at Forrest General Hospital. She was born on October 26, 1952, to Robert and Anna Peters Pietraroia in New Orleans, LA. Dianne was a native of New Orleans and most recently resided in Hattiesburg.
Mrs. Norton is preceded in death by her parents; one son, Stephen Joseph Norton; one daughter, Stephanie Darlene Norton; two brothers, Bob and Louis “Tony” Pietraroia; one nephew, David Castaneda. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Leon Norton; one daughter, Pamela Norton Rivero; three grandchildren: Anna, Cheyenne and Jorey Rivero; three sisters: Patricia “Patti” Castaneda, Carolyn “Khaki” Yesso and Cheryl Ciccio.
Memorial donations can be made to Forrest General Cancer Center at 301 S 28th Ave. Hattiesburg, MS, 39401, for patient’s care, in honor of Mrs. Norton.
A memorial service will take place on March 21, 2015, in Forrest Chapel, at 1pm with signing of the registry book beginning at 11am. The Norton family would like to formally invite the staff of Forrest General Hospital, on floors 6T and 9T to attend the memorial service.
