Mary Ellen Farley April 18, 2014 HATTIESBURG, MS - Mary Ellen Farley, 65, died unexpectedly at her home in Timberton on April 18, 2014. She was a wife and homemaker, a Library volunteer and was a member of the Hattiesburg Library Book Club, the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), Red Hats, and the Timberton Bunco Group at various times. Her sister, Laura, and her parents, Phyllis and Dean Korn of Mishawaka, Indiana predeceased Mary. Mary is survived by her husband of 43 years, Lyle, a son, Christopher of Atlanta, Georgia, a daughter, Michelle (Leisha) of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a son, Andrew (Kelly) of San Francisco, California. Her surviving siblings are Kathleen (Melvin) Pietraszewski, Dennis (Robin) Korn, and Michael (Ann) Korn. Funeral arrangements were at the Forrest Funeral Home, 1258 Richburg Road, Hattiesburg, Mississippi on Monday, April 21, 2014. Signing of the registry and receiving were at 4:00 pm and a memorial service was held at 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers the family has requested a donation be made in Mary's name to the Library of Hattiesburg, Petal, and Forrest County, Mississippi.
