Obituary for Willene "Sandy" Long

Willene “Sandy” Long, 72, of Sunflower, MS died on October 27, 2014, at St. Dominic's Hospital in Jackson, MS. She was born on September 26, 1942, to Wilmer and Ezie Sullivan in Bassfield, MS.
Mrs. Long is preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Mildred Dunegan and Judine Aultman. She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Charles Long; two step-children: David Long (Brooke) of Daleville, IN and Jean Marie Bierman (Todd) of Bellevue, NE, and one sister, Linda Hathcock (Don Robert) of Laurel, MS; two brothers: Jimmy Sullivan (Marie) of Ripley, TN and Don Sullivan (Jean) of Hattiesburg, MS. She also leaves behind to mourn her passing, four step-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be on Thursday, October 30, at Forrest Funeral Home from 6-8pm. An additional visitation will be Friday morning beginning at 9am prior to the service which will be held in Forrest Chapel at 10am. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Olive, MS.
