Pearlean White, 75, of Laurel, went to meet her Lord and Savior on Monday, October 6, 2014. She was born on April 14, 1939 to Tillmon Dearman and Pearlie Ane Johnson of Jones County MS. Services are scheduled through Forrest Funeral Home of Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 7, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Ellisville Jesus Name Church. Funeral Service will be October 8, 2014, at 10 a.m. at Ellisville Jesus Name Church, with Pastor David Williams officiating with burial to follow on Thursday, October 9, 2014, at Marianna Memorial Park in Marianna, Arkansas.
She enjoyed dining out, traveling, shopping, and spending time with her family and friends. Above all else, she was a faithful member to her church.
Mrs. White is preceded in death by her husband, Harold White of whom she spent 38 wonderful years, and her parents. She is survived by two sons, Harold Dewayne White of Dallas, Texas and Bradley Dewayne White of Paris, Texas; a daughter, Sheila Davis of Paris, Texas and husband Franklin; sisters, Marie Williams of Laurel and Betty Jo Sumrall of Ellisville and husband Larry G.; brother; Mack Ray Dearman of Laurel and his wife Dorothy; two grandsons, Chris and Jason Davis and nine great-grandchildren.
